2026 Scholarship Application

Girlfriends Christmas, Inc. (GFC) is proud to support graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education through a college/university, or career and technology program. Scholarships are awarded to deserving students who demonstrate academic commitment, leadership, community involvement, and financial need.

Scholarship Awards Available: 4- $1,000 scholarships, 2-$500 scholarships (All scholarships will be sent directly to each recipient’s school)

Eligibility Requirements

Be a graduating high school senior in the Class of 2026
Reside in the Greater Houston, Texas area
Be accepted into an accredited college/university or career and technology/trade school for the 2026-2027 academic year
Be a U.S. citizen
Submit proof of acceptance and freshman tuition statement/bill
Complete and submit the full scholarship application by the deadline of 11:59pm on July 19, 2026.

Document Submission Requirements

Official high school transcript (copy with registrar signature is acceptable)
Enrollment verification- Tuition Bill for Fall 2026 from an accredited college/university or career and technology-trade school
Photo Identification
500 Word Essay

All selected scholarship awardees must attend an in-person awardee reception in Houston, TX.

More information will be provided to the awardees.

Your essay should include educational and career aspirations, personal challenges or obstacles overcome, financial need, how you plan to make a positive impact in your community, and why continued education is important to you.
